As many of you know, I have been studying very hard for my Bar Mitzvah. My Bar Mitzvah isn’t just about reading from the Torah for the first time, it also means I am becoming a Jewish man in my community. In doing so, I believe I must TAKE ACTION and begin helping my community as an adult. You can help me achieve my mission by donating to an organization that is very important to me- The Jewish Community Services (JCS) Kosher Food Bank
The JCS Kosher Food Bank is the only food bank in Miami-Dade County serving those who observe kosher dietary laws. JCS’ Kosher Food Bank provides food items and other daily necessities to Jewish people in need.
My connection to the JCS Kosher Food Bank stems from my bubby. My bubby, who passed away earlier this year, instilled in me the Jewish values of Tikkun Olam meaning repair of the world and social justice. She also kept kosher throughout her life. My bubby would be so proud of me embracing the same values she lived by throughout her life.
Please donate and help me TAKE ACTION, improve the lives of so many Jewish people in my community and keep my bubby’s memory alive.
